The piece features refined glazed decoration with two relief swallows and floral motifs, a design characteristic of Central European Art Deco. The vase retains its original Amphora factory mark, ensuring authenticity. It was produced in the Teplitz-Turn region of Bohemia (present-day Trnovany, Czech Republic) by the prestigious Amphora factory, directed by Riessner between 1892 and 1945. The “Czechoslovakia” mark places the piece in the period following 1918. A refined and collectible piece, ideal for collectors of Art Deco ceramics, Amphora works, and early 20th-century decorative arts.The base has a small restoration on the top, done about 40 years ago, which does not affect its beauty and usefulness.
